"Despicable" Minions Invade IHOP This Summer
Minions Steal a Spot on the IHOP Menu With the Release of Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment's "Despicable Me"
GLENDALE, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 06/21/2010 -- IHOP, one of America's favorite restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner, has been overrun by mischievous minions who have stolen a spot on the IHOP menu. In partnership with Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment's inaugural 3-D CGI feature, "Despicable Me," IHOP has unveiled its new Minion Madness limited time promotion. From now through August 29, guests are invited to take part in the Minion Madness by ordering the craveable, new minion-inspired menu items available at participating IHOP locations.

Minion Madness is taking over IHOP restaurants this summer as minions hang from restaurant ceilings, peek out from server aprons and steal the spotlight on IHOP's limited time menu. The new lineup of delicious items inspired by the mischievous members of Gru's minion army includes:
• Loaded Minion Taters can satisfy even the hungriest of minions with crispy Tater Tot® potatoes loaded with cheese sauce, bacon, tomatoes, jalapeños, shredded Jack and Cheddar cheeses and sour cream. Served with two eggs any style and two buttermilk pancakes.
• CinniMinions are diabolically-delicious, warm dough bites dusted with cinnamon sugar and drizzled with cream cheese icing. Served with your favorite combination, including eggs, hash browns, and your choice of bacon, pork sausage links or a hearty ham slice.
• Minion Berry Pancakes are concocted of two fluffy lemon pancakes topped with triple berry compote and creamy whipped topping. Served with your favorite combination, including eggs, hash browns, and your choice of bacon, pork sausage links or a hearty ham slice.
• A Kids CinniMinion Breakfast consists of two CinniMinion dough bites, one scrambled egg and one slice of bacon for the little minions 12 and under in your family.
