Welcome back to our house! With added health and safety protocols, we can’t wait to safely serve your mealtime favorites back under our blue roof in select locations. Check out your local restaurant for updated hours and service offerings.

Safety Steps and Procedures

We’re taking extra steps in making sure that our restaurants are safe for all guests amid COVID-19.

  • Staff and guest safety
    Our team is regularly screened for symptoms, and practices good health and hygiene by focusing on washing hands and avoiding contact with their faces.

  • Thorough and frequent cleaning and disinfecting
    We are taking an enhanced approach at cleaning and disinfecting our dining rooms, restrooms and all high-touch surfaces such as tables, in addition to rinsing and sanitizing coffee and tea carafes.

  • Single-use paper menu or digital menu
    When you dine in, you have a choice of either a paper menu or a scannable QR code for a digital version.

  • Hand sanitizer stations
    New hand sanitizer stations have been added in our waiting areas.

  • Social distancing
    There are markers in the lobby to help maintain at least a 6ft distance from other guests and our dining rooms have been designed to maintain the same distance. Team members are also assigned to specific areas of the restaurant.

  • Face masks and PPE
    All team members are required to wear a face covering that meets state requirements.

  • Proper glove use
    Our kitchen team members will continue to wear gloves and our dining room team members will be following all state and local ordinances.

    A Letter from our President

    For more than six decades, IHOP® has been a place to make memories and celebrate precious moments under our iconic blue roof. But for the first time since our doors opened, we had to pause that tradition to protect the health and safety of our team members and guests in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak.

    We’ve been fortunate that the majority of our restaurants have been able to continue to operate safely and conveniently and, through it all, we put the trust you place in us first. Things may look slightly different from restaurant to restaurant, as we’ll be following CDC guidelines and state and local mandates. But one thing remains consistent – protecting you and our team members is our top priority.

    This situation is changing every day, and we appreciate your patience and loyalty. Stay safe, be well and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
