IHOP Express is the perfect solution for those wanting breakfast before an early flight, or are just looking for comfort food delivered with speed and portability.
IHOP Express can fit seamlessly within your airport, matching existing airport design standards and operating within the airport’s regulations and needs. Our layouts can include special features such as a coffee bar, a full-service bar (serving local craft beers and cocktails) and a Grab N Go section.

IHOP Express – Fast Casual (Dining area) This model is an enhanced service experience, while still delivering speed and portability to travelers on the go. Supported with some dedicated seating, this model allows the staff to deliver freshly made food to the guests on china and with real silverware. The initial approach for a traveler is based on a fast-casual model with a counter based order and pay experience. However, with a specific table flag, travelers grab a beverage and pick a table of their choice. Our runners can quickly find their table and ensure they have all the condiments, beverages, and items needed at that time. Menu here can be expanded to approximately 30 items, still covering all dayparts, and now allowing some items most enjoyed while dining in vs. take out.
- IHOP Express Quick-Serve: 800 SF – 1,200 SF
- IHOP Express Fast Casual: 1,200 SF – 3,500 SF
Initial Franchise fee: $15,000
Royalty: 4.5% of total gross sales

The opening training support team of a Full-Expression IHOP is typically made up of four (4) trainers, of which three (3) are provided by IHOP at no additional cost. A fourth trainer will be provided by IHOP at a cost of $5,500.
The training team will provide training assistance for a period of 2 weeks, with 1 week prior to opening and 1 week after the opening of the Restaurant.
Additionally, you will receive training and ongoing restaurant operations support from our team once opened and afterwards. Furthermore, you will receive detailed manuals and guidance to help you achieve high quality and consistent operations.
