Just like in our restaurants, our Web site is an opportunity for our guests to share with one another – from photos to comments to videos. But before you can participate, we ask you if you’re at least 13 years of age because IHOP.com complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), which prohibits collecting personal information from anyone under the age of 13 without obtaining verifiable parental consent.

Eligibility of use. The Web site may only be used by individuals aged thirteen (13) years or older. If the User is thirteen (13) years or older but under the age of eighteen (18) years, User should review these Terms with User’s parent or guardian to make sure the User and User’s parent or guardian understand them.

By using any of our products or services, including our Web site, applications, any of our social network pages and any other goods or services referenced herein (“Services”), you are agreeing to abide by these terms and conditions. As a condition of your use of the Services, you will not use the Services for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms and conditions or any other applicable law. Our Web site includes a combination of content that we create and that our franchisees, affiliates or business partners create. All materials published on our Web site, including, but not limited to, written content, photographs, graphics, images, illustrations, marks, logos, sound or video clips, and Flash animation, are the intellectual property of IHOP or our franchisees, affiliates or business partners. You may not modify, publish, transmit, participate in the transfer or sale of, reproduce, create derivative works of, distribute, publicly perform, publicly display, in any way exploit or use in violation of any law any of the materials or content on our Web site in whole or in part, other than as necessary for your own personal non-commercial use, without our written consent.

Our Web site contains content that we create as well as content provided by third parties. This content may include, among other things, company information, and product or service information or reviews. There may be some inadvertent inaccuracies or typographical errors in the content. We do not guarantee the accuracy, integrity, completeness or quality of the content on our Web site or that located at third party URLs that may be posted on our Web site. Further, the content posted on our Web site and social networks may not reflect the position or opinion of IHOP or our employees.

Where legally permissible, for any content (text-based posts, photos, videos, comments) that you submit or post on IHOP.com’s Social Experience or any of IHOP’s branded social platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Vine, Snapchat, Tumblr and Foursquare, you specifically give IHOP a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide perpetual license to use, copy, modify, delete, adapt, publish, translate, sell or distribute such submitted content, without further approval by you or compensation from IHOP. This also pertains to any content you post using #IHOP, #IHOPLove, #IHOPSummer, and #IHOPCheer. By submitting the any of the above content, you represent that you own all rights and title to the submitted content and that the submitted content does not infringe any third party’s intellectual property rights, including but not limited to idea misappropriation, infringement of copyright, title, slogan or other property rights, and that the submitted content does not: libel, slander, defame, or disparage any third party or contain the unauthorized use of name or likeness of any person or entity.

We want all our fans to be able to have a voice and the opportunity for their content to be featured on the Web site, so we came up with a few guidelines to make sure your content gets seen. We ask that all IHOP users take note that IHOP reserves the right to remove materials that are:
* Obscene, defamatory, profane, abusive, harassing, disparaging, hateful or threatening
* False, deceptive or misleading
* Condoning or promoting illegal activity
* Irrelevant or off-topic
* Spam or material that links to advertisements
* Intended to cause technical disruptions to this page

You understand and agree that our Services may include communications such as service announcements and administrative messages from us or from our franchisees, affiliates or business partners and that these communications are considered part of the Services. You also understand that our Services may be perceived as or include advertisements.


The IHOP Play application is one of the applications that IHOP has available for user download in the iTunes and Android Play store fronts. This application is free to users with the devices on which it is supported. It is currently only available on these store fronts. The application is subject to change at any time, and updates will be delivered via the appropriate OS delivery framework. The application is promoted via http://ihop.com/play and available for download on iTunes and Android. The IHOP Play application is currently not collecting any personally identifiable information at this time. If personally identifiable information is collected in the future, usage of that information will conform to our Privacy Policy.

Download speeds, content performance and loading may vary by device and are not guaranteed. Users are responsible for all application downloads that they initiate on their devices. IHOP is not responsible for any bandwidth charges that a User may incur by downloading the IHOP Play application or updates to the application a User may initiate. User experience may vary slightly based on devices. Users who share the content in the IHOP Play application to their social network do so fully acknowledging these terms. Users agree that the ownership of this content belongs to IHOP, and they are using the share tool with this knowledge.

The length of time that the IHOP Play content experience is live is subject to change. At any point, IHOP can remove the app from the App Store and make updates to the app via the store fronts. Users are encouraged to update their applications when new updates are provided to reflect the latest and most stable experiences.

The IHOP Play application is separate from the IHOP application on iTunes or Android.


The IHOP application is one of the applications that IHOP has available for User download in the iTunes and Android Play storefronts. This application is free to Users with the devices it is supported on. It is currently only available on these storefronts. The IHOP application is available for download on iTunes and Android. This application is used to enable users to find locations, browse the IHOP menu, and connect with the IHOP brand and sign up for the Pancake Revolution program.
